The ND Board of Nursing (BON) is inviting stakeholders to submit application for voluntary participation on the Advisory Panel. The Advisory Panel shall consist of a pool of individuals with specific experience and knowledge. Advisory Panel members may be considered for participation in the exploration of identified regulatory issues by means of individual consultation or select groups, at the discretion of the Board and/or Directors. As regulatory issues arise, select members will be contacted with the proposed opportunity for participation, including specific details and proposed timeline.
Qualifications: Open to nursing and non-nursing public members. If licensed, must be in good standing with respective licensing Boards.
ND Board of Nursing Mission: Assure North Dakota citizens quality-nursing care through the regulation of standards for nursing education, licensure, and practice.
Vision: Work creatively to address the public’s need for safe and competent nursing practice through:
1. Openness to innovative approaches to regulation,
2. Monitoring and analyzing trends and changes in health care and regulation and
3. Anticipates planned changes in nursing regulation.
