The North Dakota Board of Nursing is proud to announce the launch of its new interactive Data Dashboard, designed to increase transparency, improve access to vital workforce information, and support data-driven decision-making across the state.

The dashboard, unveiled publicly for the first time at April 24th, 2025 NDBON Board Meeting, is now available to all stakeholders!

What You’ll Find

The NDBON Data Dashboard provides easy-to-navigate visuals and charts based on official licensing data, including:

• Nurse distribution by license type and county

• APRNs, RNs, and LPNs by fiscal year

• Geographic trends in workforce licensing

• New license totals and non-renewal patterns by year

• And more — all updated in alignment with our annual report

The dashboard reflects our commitment to data accessibility, public transparency, and ongoing innovation in how we serve nurses, educators, policymakers, and the public.

In the coming months, the dashboard will expand to include Unlicensed Assistive Personnel (UAP) data, Medication Assistant III (MAIII) licensing figures, and financial reporting insights — providing an even more comprehensive picture of the nursing landscape in North Dakota.
